We were browsing through some expired patents and found this design in a patent by Lynn Yarborough.
The square version was entered into the Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition some years ago. Bits and Pieces also made a commercial version.
With the patent long expired we thought we make a the hexagonal version which has never previously been available.
The goal is simply to assemble the six identical hookers.
Each hooker is about 65mm long and the whole puzzle weighs 380g or about 13.5oz
Fun fact : despite its relative simplicity, this puzzle required more prototypes than many of our other puzzles. Can you work out why?
This puzzle comes assembled in a presentation box.
